2010-04-15 - “Lake Constance Business Breakfast” attracted many participants to HSM on 14 April 2010
On 14 April 2010, the fifth “Lake Constance Business Breakfast” took place, which was organised this time by Lake Constance Economic Development in cooperation with HSM GmbH + Co. KG. The event took place at HSM headquarters in Frickingen.
After an ample and varied breakfast, participants were welcomed by Benedikt Otte, the director of Lake Constance Economic Development. This was followed by Irene Dengler, the HSM managing director who presented HSM and its strategic orientation to over a hundred guests from business and politics. The participants then listened to a talk by Winfried Neun called “Better to grow intelligently than to shrink healthily! Speednovation® opens new markets for new products”. The business specialist talked in particular about the successful strategic development of new markets with very little competition, the “Blue Oceans”.
Afterwards there was an opportunity to go on a tour of the plant in Salem, which was well-received by the guests. Amongst the guests was the Bundestag member Lothar Riebsamen, as well as the mayor of Frickingen, Joachim Böttinger and the mayor of Salem Manfred Härle.
The event takes place every spring and autumn and offers a forum for business people, managing directors, managers and local politicians to exchange information on interesting topics away from the hectic pace of everyday business. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Baden-Württemberg with funding from the European Social Fund.
